Thank you for signing up for the Byte Sized Investments Expense Tracker (herein referred to as the “Expense Tracker”) with us.

The Expense Tracker is provided by Byte Sized Investments Pte. Ltd. (herein referred to as “BSI”).

By signing up for, accessing or using the Expense Tracker, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Educational and Informational Disclaimer

a. The Expense Tracker is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is designed to help you organise and understand your personal expenses and to provide an estimate of your annual expenses and potential financial independence (FI) number based on the information you enter.

b. The Expense Tracker does not constitute and should not be relied upon as financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal or other professional advice.

c. Any calculations, estimates, projections or figures generated by the Expense Tracker are dependent on the information and assumptions entered by you. BSI does not represent or warrant that any such figures are accurate, complete or appropriate for your individual circumstances.

d. Your actual financial independence number, financial needs, expenses, investment returns and future financial position may differ materially from any figures generated by the Expense Tracker.

e. You are solely responsible for verifying any information, calculations or assumptions and for obtaining appropriate professional advice before making any financial, investment, tax or other decisions.

f. Investing involves risks, including the possible loss of some or all of your invested capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

2. No Guarantee

a. BSI does not promise or guarantee any particular result, financial outcome, investment return, level of wealth or achievement of financial independence arising from your use of the Expense Tracker or any information provided by BSI.

b. You acknowledge that any decisions you make, including decisions relating to your finances, savings, investments or financial independence, are made solely at your own risk and responsibility.

3. Intellectual Property

a. All rights, title and interest in and to the Expense Tracker, including the spreadsheet, its design, structure, formulas, content, materials and related intellectual property (collectively, the “Intellectual Property”), belong to BSI or its licensors.

b. BSI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use the Expense Tracker for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

c. You must not, without BSI's prior written consent, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, resell, licence, sublicense, commercially exploit, or otherwise make the Expense Tracker or any substantial part of it available to any third party.

d. You may make copies of the Expense Tracker for your own personal backup purposes only.

4. Personal Data and Communications

a. By providing your personal data to BSI when signing up for the Expense Tracker, you acknowledge and agree that BSI may collect, use and disclose your personal data in accordance with BSI's Privacy Policy.

b. By signing up for the Expense Tracker, you may receive emails from BSI relating to the Expense Tracker, your download/access, and other relevant educational content, offers, products and services from BSI, subject to applicable laws and your applicable consent preferences.

c. You may unsubscribe from BSI's marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in our emails or by contacting BSI.

d. Please refer to BSI's Privacy Policy for further information about how your personal data is collected, used and disclosed.

5. Availability and Changes

a. BSI may update, modify, replace, suspend or discontinue the Expense Tracker or any part of it at any time.

b. BSI may update the formulas, categories, features, design or other content of the Expense Tracker from time to time.

c. BSI does not guarantee that the Expense Tracker will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, spreadsheet application or software environment.

6. User Responsibility

a. You are responsible for entering accurate and complete information into the Expense Tracker.

b. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your own data and any information entered into your copy of the Expense Tracker.

c. You should not rely solely on the Expense Tracker when making important financial or investment decisions.

7. Release, Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

a. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BSI, its employees, agents, contractors and service providers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from or in connection with your access to or use of the Expense Tracker, including any reliance placed on calculations, estimates or information generated by or contained within the Expense Tracker.

b. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BSI excludes all liability for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of income, revenue, profits, opportunities, data or anticipated savings.

c. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law.

d. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BSI, its employees, agents, contractors and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your misuse of the Expense Tracker or your breach of these Terms and Conditions, except to the extent caused by BSI's negligence, wilful misconduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. General

a. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed to the extent necessary without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

b. The failure or delay by BSI to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

c. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and BSI in relation to your use of the Expense Tracker and supersede any prior representations or understandings relating to the same.

d. BSI reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updated Terms and Conditions will take effect when published or otherwise made available by BSI.

e. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

f. Any disputes, controversies or differences arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall first be referred to mediation in Singapore, in accordance with the applicable mediation rules in force at the relevant time.
